The Minister highlights the importance of project delivery in line with the national policy frameworks. 

In a consultative meeting held to evaluate the six-month program implementation of the EAST AFRICA SKILLS for TRANSFORMATION and REGIONAL INTEGRATION PROJECT (EASTRIP) the Minister to Ministry of Science and Higher Education Dr. Samuel Urkato highlighted the importance of project development and implementation in line with government priority development areas and policy frameworks. He also stated that an orchestrated effort between the government and its development partners is mandatory to ensure the success of project delivery. In the meeting, Dr. Samuel underlined the need for project alignments with government policy and priority development programs to meet national prosperity.

Meanwhile, Prof. Afework Kassu, the State Minister for the Ministry of Science and Higher Education on his part said that the EASTRIP implementation program should broadly focus on 

 innovation and other scientific approaches to scale up the competitiveness of institutions and the skilled human power in the international market.

In addition to that Dr. Samuel Kifle, the State Minister for the Ministry of Science and Higher Education urged the stakeholders to build a strong project administration system to strengthen the delivery of projects on time and within budget. He has also noted that the importance of promoting qualification to engage the skilled human power in regional and continental market. Moreover, Dr. Samuel emphasized the need of strengthening the coordination work of EAST AFRICA SKILLS for TRANSFORMATION and REGIONAL INTEGRATION PROJECT (EASTRIP) implementation in all levels of its components.
